Fresh off a wildly successful stop in Venice Beach, the touring showcase heads to the Valley with an updated lineup, including a thrilling new musical addition!
HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Los Angeles Freeway Circuit is back on the road. Following a triumphant first stop at The Electric Lodge in Venice, The StageCrafts are bringing their touring showcase of standout independent theatre to Theatre 68 Arts Complex in North Hollywood on Saturday, September 19th, 2026. The stop features four productions returning from the circuit’s Venice debut, plus one electrifying new addition to the lineup.
This stop also marks a lineup shift: Another Distraction From the Epstein Files is stepping off the circuit after Venice, making room for a new production to join the road trip. In its place, the Freeway Circuit welcomes Straitjacket Sirens, a 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival nominee for Best Cabaret presented by The Unknown Artists closing out the night at 9:30pm.
From North Hollywood the Circuit heads to the new Outside In Theater in Highland Park in November.
Meanwhile, the back half of the circuit is starting to take shape, with a freshly added stop at Parson’s Nose Theater in Pasadena on March 6th, 2027. Dates for January and April/May are still being finalized.
The lineup for September 19th at Theatre 68 Arts Complex is as follows:
Homecoming
Written & performed by Dara Kosberg
September 19th at 3:30pm (60 min)
NOMINEE – The 2026 Fringe Award for Comedy
“There’s a mystical and ever-moving line that solo shows sometimes cross into the realm of other worldliness and soul changing. I have seen probably thousands of solo shows and very few cross that line… Homecoming did, almost as soon as the show began.“
When Dara gets the call that her mother is dying while she’s studying abroad in Australia, an already complicated mother-daughter relationship gets a lot more complicated. A winding, funny, and deeply human path toward an impossible question: how do you make amends with a dead mom?

GLOSSOLALIA: An American Gothic Drama
Written & directed by Christina Tinde Jesenski
September 19th at 6:30pm (65 min)
RECOMMENDED “Not without some sly humor, it is both disturbing and enlightening, most notably at the gripping finale. Delivered with fervor… these final moments epitomize the clash between good and evil that churns within many of us.” – Stage Raw
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED “…a powerful evening of theater…” – Gia On the Move
RECOMMENDED – LA Theatre Bites
Amid a cacophony of cicadas, a preacher’s daughter and her father’s protégé give in to a secret, tender intimacy outside an abandoned church — until guilt takes hold of one, but not the other.

Straitjacket Sirens
Straitjacket Sirens, presented by The Unknown Aritsts
Written by Pamela Eberhardt and directed by Parissa Koo
Presented by The Unknown Artists
September 19th at 9:30pm (60 min)
NOMINEE – The 2026 Fringe Award for Cabaret & Musicals
Audiences describe Straitjacket Sirens as “a high-energy romp featuring a great cast of singers that gives you some oh-so-satisfying comeuppance to top it all off” and “An absolute blast of a show!”
This 90s-jukebox cabaret is a darkly funny, razor-sharp exploration of a group of women confined to a mental hospital. Each one is dismissed by their misogynistic therapist as they attempt to reclaim their voices with the help of a passionate activist… and through music! Grunge, pop, R&B, and alt-rock anthems collide channeling iconic 90s hits into acts of rebellion, survival, and hard-won solidarity.
